Welcome the volunteers!

All of the volunteers are here, alive and discovering.

Hello! Olá! My name is João but you can call me Queijo (Cheese).
I am from Lisboa.
When I go to Liepaja you can expect me to smile and try to make you laugh (poorly). But you will never see me sad.
And, if you ask me really nicely, I can cook and teach you about my language and country.
I can even teach you about my country, how it is badly governed and how to make cool videos .
I am really looking forward to go to Latvia, but I am a bit afraid of the cold and not being able to swim in the beach (because of the cold temperatures).
After two month stay in Liepaja surely I will understand reasonably your language and your costumes, have a lot of saudades (the only word in every language for missing someone), and take some cooking recipes to share in my work.
See you all soon and keep in mind you'll have to deal with me for two months. Abreijos (“hugs and kisses”)!

Hello! Bonjour! My name is Anissa but you can call me Ani.
I am from Nice, in south of France.
When I go to Liepaja you can expect me to look everywhere all the time.
But you will never see me down (I hope).
And, if you ask me really nicely, I can cook for you.
I can even teach you how to speak French.
I am really looking forward to go to Latvia, but I am a bit afraid of the weather and to live with people I don’t know.
After two month stay in Liepaja surely I’ll know what are my limits are.
See you all soon and  can’t wait to meet you :)

Hello! CIAO! My name is GIULIA but you can call me as it sounds better in your own language. Feel free to re-baptize me! I will love it.
I am from Italy. I was born in the North but I belong to the South. Deep South. A beautiful land called Sicily.
When I go to Liepaja you can expect me to laugh and smile a lot, organize massive dinners and cook cook cook, wake up early to enjoy the very first sun, have a swim in the Baltic Sea, get my hands as dirty as I can, take you for a bike ride every time that is possible and ask you to sing loud (LOUD!) with me, collect seeds and plant them, interview you, take photos and videos till I have enough battery, learn as much as possible to bring back to Palermo a good experience and be able to share new skills and knowledge.
But you will never see me waste something. Or play an instrument in the right way (but be sure there will be love in that horrible noise).
And, if you ask me really nicely, I can cook some good authentic Italian dishes, baby-sitting for your kids, write you a story, read you a book and of course fix your bike (once I become enough good to do it)!
I can even teach you how to be magic in a kitchen! Cook something with (almost) nothing and play with flour and water to create whatever you wish (and then eat it!).
I am really looking forward to go to Latvia, but I am a bit afraid of leave my bike alone in Palermo!
After two month stay in Liepaja surely I will be able to fix my bike and others'. I hope I will be able to design and build up my own one and maybe come back home riding it. Speak a new language (or try my best to pretend I can actually speak Latvian).
See you all soon and thanks Universe for this project!

Hello! My name is Tamás but you can call me Tomi.
I am from Hungary.
When I go to Liepaja you can expect me to be friendly and reliable. But you will never see me lazy and unreliable.
And, if you ask me really nicely, I can help and answer your questions.
I can even teach you Hungarian language and cooking.
I am really looking forward to go to Latvia, but I am a bit afraid of the differences we have.
After two month stay in Liepaja surely I will learn a lot about the language and culture.
See you all soon and we will get to know each other!
